A scout-like gaming adventure that educates while it entertains, CYBERHERO LEAGUE enables kids to learn about global challenges while training to become real world heroes. By using a smartphone or getting active with the Cyberhero League wearable, kids use digital technology to complete apprenticeships with global nonprofit organizations. They go on real world adventures, gather artifacts, defeat defilers, and unlock treasures in the form of real world aid for people, animals, and imperiled environments.
TriBeCa Family Festival
Our beta test of Cyberhero League's locative quest was a huge success! The Ghostbusters visited and kids of all ages enjoyed playing while they learned about the work of charity: water.
Our team worked with Professor Garrigan of Lehigh University who lead a team of graduate students in the development of Cyberhero League's locative quest.
Finalists in the Kaboom, Play Everywhere Challenge, our proposal is to turn the sidewalks of Harlem into musical playgrounds by turning existing structures into musical instruments (e.g., tree guards to xylophones) or adding instruments to existing signage or storefronts. We are excited to partnering with c3: Center for Conscious Creativity in this endeavor.
Sacred Time is an urban sanctuary designed for city dwellers currently being presented to city planners for future development.
Gaia Genome Project
A participatory artwork taking the form of a nomadic user-generated museum, rather than mapping DNA, the Gaia Genome Project is a transdisciplinary effort to envision an outward expression of that map. It encourages individuals to take action to protect species & preserve habitat.
